1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, local storage, and scripts that collect information about how you use the site. We use these technologies to run the Service securely, remember your preferences, and — only if you opt in — measure traffic and marketing performance.

2. How we obtain your choices

When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept all optional cookies, reject optional cookies, or customize categories. Necessary cookies run by default because the site cannot function properly without them. You can change your mind anytime via Cookie settings in the site footer, which reopens the banner.

Your choices are stored in a first-party cookie named vv_consent (approximately 12 months) so we can honor them on later visits.

3. Cookie categories we use

3.1 Necessary

Required for core functionality, security, and remembering your cookie preferences. These cannot be switched off through our banner.

• vv_consent — stores your consent categories and decision timestamp (first-party; ~365 days).
• Security / bot-protection technologies used with form submission (for example Cloudflare Turnstile scripts and related signals). These support fraud prevention and may set or read technical data as configured by the provider.

3.2 Analytics

Help us understand traffic, page performance, and conversion funnels (for example which steps of “Plan Your Event” users complete). Loaded only after you enable Analytics (or Accept all).

When configured, analytics tags may be delivered through Google Tag Manager (GTM) after consent. Specific measurement products (such as Google Analytics 4) depend on what is connected in our GTM container.

3.3 Marketing

Used to measure and improve advertising, attribute campaigns, and — if enabled — build or refine audiences on advertising platforms. Loaded only after you enable Marketing (or Accept all).

4. Similar technologies (not cookies)

• Local storage (funnel draft) — if you use “Save & exit,” we store a draft of your form answers in your browser so you can resume later. This data stays on your device until you submit successfully or clear site data.
• Scripts and pixels — third-party tags loaded via GTM after consent may set their own cookies or use pixels on your device.

5. Third parties

Depending on your consent and our configuration, technologies may involve providers such as:

• Cloudflare — security and Turnstile bot protection related to form submission.
• Google Tag Manager — tag delivery after Analytics and/or Marketing consent (when a container ID is configured).
• Additional analytics or advertising vendors connected through GTM (to be listed here when activated).

Third parties may process data under their own privacy policies. We configure optional tags not to load until you opt in.

6. How to manage cookies

• Use Cookie settings in our footer to update categories.
• Use your browser controls to block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may break parts of the site (for example remembering consent or submitting forms).
• For interest-based advertising choices more broadly, you may also visit industry opt-out tools such as the Network Advertising Initiative or Digital Advertising Alliance pages (availability varies by region).

7. Do Not Sell or Share / advertising choices

8. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies or vendors change. The “Last updated” date will reflect revisions. Material changes may also be noted on the Service.
